We’re thrilled to announce a special opportunity to win an in-person culinary experience at one of the country’s top whole-animal butcher shops. Through our Kitchen Collab partnership with Chef Alex Pope of Local Pig, Central Grazing customers have the opportunity to win two passes to attend a class at Kansas City’s Local Pig kitchen on June 5, 2022, at 12 p.m. NOTE: This offer is expired!

Class participants will:

> Learn from an expert butcher the techniques for cutting, grinding, seasoning, and mixing sausage;

> Take home premium Central Grazing lamb sausage prepared during the class; and 

> Enjoy complimentary lunch and beverages provided by the gourmet sandwich shop Pigwich, Local Pig’s sister establishment.

About the Class

The sausage-making class will be held from 12 p.m.— 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the Local Pig’s professional kitchen (20 E. 5th St. in Kansas City, MO). Winners will be contacted by Central Grazing by May 25.

This class is open to all experience levels (age 16+). Full involvement is recommended, though participants are also welcome to observe and ask questions only, should they wish. Participants must wear appropriate cooking attire, including flat, closed-toe shoes.
